" Be sure in the beginning of the season to always set your mooring in the down river direction.

To set the mooring, back your vessel down river with the pendant attached to your bow cleats.

Pay attention to the mooring ball. The procedure is complete when the

ball dips below the surface of the water and you feel you boat tug."
